There are so many people who want to start a home business but they're complete computer newbies. Here are some of the things you need to know how to do. If you don't understand these things, you need to learn.
- You need to learn how to make your own website. Don't just use your MLM company's "doorway page'" or your affiliate link, no matter what it is you're marketing. You need to be original and provide good information to your readers. Most of your target market will see your offer a thousand times from every other affiliate or MLM member that's involved. Make yourself stand out!
- You need a domain
- You need a host
- You need an HTML editor
- You need a target audience for your website. Who are the people who you want reading your webpages? What do they want? What do they need? What are you going to offer them that someone else isn't?
- You need to research keywords
- You need to optimize your webpages for those keywords
- You need to advertise your website and your opportunity or offer.

- You need traffic to your website.

- Classified Ads
- Social Networking
- Social Bookmarking
- Traffic Exchanges
- Pay Per Click ( PLEASE be very careful with this and know what you're doing first)
- You need an autoresponder and I wouldn't suggest a free one because other people's ads will be at the top of your emails. I've tried a couple of different ones. There are choices out there. You want to see what they offer and see if it's useable according to your skill level.
- You need a mentor, someone to guide you through the process. Any good MLM will have a fantastic support system. Don't settle for anything less. If anyone ever tells you that they will do all of the work for you and you can make tons of money without doing anything at all, their lying. There are no handouts in life, not even on the Internet.
